Personalized Breath & Movement
Daily breath and movement practice personalized to your physiology — 8 guests means no generic sequences. Yoga, somatic practice, and breathwork designed around the eight bodies in the room.

The Thailand Retreat
An 8-person Thailand immersion for professionals who’ve optimized everything — except the system underneath.
Upcoming Gathering
Each year, thousands gather on Koh Phangan under the light of the full moon for the ancient Phrakh Pukhat ritual — a day of song, story, and sacrifice where offerings are placed before the dead and the living alike. It is one of the largest spiritual gatherings on the island, and a rare window to experience Thai Buddhist tradition at its fullest expression.

Your Guide
Penny Pikul is the creator of the FRIENDS Framework™. Her foundation blends disciplines: she trained at Stanford Psychiatry's YogaX program, where yoga is approached through a clinical, psychiatry-informed lens; she holds ISSA (International Sports and Science Association) Personal Training and Nutritionist certifications; and she learned to stay calm under pressure through Muay Thai, training with instructors in Thailand and at Washington DC's BETA Academy under Kru Nak and Kru Luis.
For ten days, we change the context completely — in the country that built everything I teach.
The Experience
Thailand beyond the guidebook: dawn temples, markets, a working Muay Thai gym, meals chosen by someone who grew up on this food. Small enough that by day two, it’s not a program — it’s a private practice with seven interesting strangers becoming friends.

Daily breath and movement practice personalized to your physiology — 8 guests means no generic sequences. Yoga, somatic practice, and breathwork designed around the eight bodies in the room.
Train Muay Thai in a working gym alongside locals — stillness-under-pressure learned from the trainers themselves. A practice that challenges your nervous system in a way no studio can.

Meals chosen by someone who grew up on this food. Thai nutrition, mindful eating, and therapeutic massage woven into the daily rhythm — food and touch as gratitude, connection, and love.

Evening deep-regulation sessions: the FRIENDS framework applied over consecutive days, which is where lasting change happens. Each day explores a dimension of nervous system regulation.
The FRIENDS Framework™
Ten days immersed in the FRIENDS Framework™ — the same seven dimensions, practiced in a context that makes regulation the default rather than the exception.
What This Is Not
This is not a detox, a party, a yoga-teacher-training, or a schedule that exhausts you into “relaxation.”

Transformation isn’t a purchase. It’s a context, a practice, and enough days in a row. We have all three waiting.
Where We’ve Been
Practice has carried us across the world. Each pin marks a place where a group slowed down, breathed, and remembered.
The Setting
A place where Buddhist philosophy, nature, food, and daily ritual create a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit. Where healing is not something you force — it is something you allow.
"The sun is always shining. The journey is learning how to let it in."

Questions
No. Every practice is designed around the eight bodies in the room. Beginners and marathoners get equally challenged — differently.
Yes — that’s precisely who it’s for. We build a realistic boundary (a daily connectivity window if you need it) rather than pretending your responsibilities vanish. The goal is a nervous system that can stand down even though your life is full.
It’s grounded in neuroscience and embodied practice, held in a culture with deep contemplative roots. You’ll experience Thai Buddhist settings as culture and context; nothing requires belief.
Accommodation, all meals, all sessions, cultural excursions, and ground transport. International flights and visas are not included.
Fully refundable for 30 days after booking. After that it converts to a standard cancellation schedule.
Thailand is one of Asia’s most-visited destinations with excellent private healthcare. I’ll send a pre-trip guide covering health, insurance (required), and logistics — and you’ll have a Bangkok-born host the entire time.
The cohort is capped at 8 participants. Partners are welcome to book as participants; this isn’t a bring-a-plus-one format, because the group container is the product.
No ethical practitioner promises transformation on a schedule. What I can promise: daily personalized practice, tools you’ll keep for life, measurable state changes you’ll feel within days, and a context designed for re-patterning. What you build with that is yours.
